Frequently asked questions
No. SalonFlow is an independent third-party tool built by a photographer, for photographers. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or connected to FIAP, PSA, GPU or any other photographic organisation.
Everything is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is sent to any server. SalonFlow works fully offline — no account, no cloud, no subscription required to use the app.
Yes. The free version lets you track up to 2 salons, browse the catalogue, use the dashboard and widget, and access all title tracking features. Pro unlocks unlimited salons, attachments, portfolio export and full backups.
Yes. You can import historical results from FIAP Dossier or PSA Stars using a CSV template available directly in the app (Settings → Import history). Imported data is fully counted in all calculations.
Yes. You can add individual sections (juries or countries) to a circuit salon. Each section has its own name, country and patronage codes (FIAP, PSA, GPU, custom). When entering results, you select the relevant section.
Once you reach Star 5 in a division, you can activate Galaxy Mode for that division in Settings. SalonFlow then tracks Galaxy 1–10 progression with a cap of 3 acceptances per image. Each division progresses independently.
Yes. SalonFlow Light is a web app that runs in any browser — Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, tablet, phone. No installation needed. The native iOS/iPadOS app offers a deeper feature set for Apple users, but if you're not on Apple, SalonFlow Light has you fully covered.
Use the ZIP backup feature (Pro) — it exports all your data and attachments into a single file. On your new device, import the ZIP to restore everything. JSON export/import is also available in the free version for data-only transfers.
